Birding guide working the Darién and the Bayano corridor, with about nine hundred species on her Panama list and a working knowledge of most of their calls. Ex-field assistant on two long-term surveys, so the notebook comes out on every trip and the records go somewhere. She runs small groups only — four is the ceiling, and there is no negotiating it in a forest where hearing matters more than seeing.
