Overview
A thermal bathhouse in the floor of the El Valle crater, fed by the same mineral springs the town has been using for a hundred years and rebuilt around them in 2019. Five treatments, all by appointment, all finishing the same way: in the outdoor soaking pools under the trees, which is the part everybody actually comes back for. The mud from the crater wall is used in two of the treatments and is worth the mess. Sessions are staggered so there are never more than a dozen people in the pools, and the last slot of the day is the quiet one. Bring nothing — robes, towels and sandals are laid out in the changing rooms.
